A Message From Our
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Welcome to the beautiful Emerald Coast and Pensacola, FL! Our mission remains grounded in our founding philosophy, while incorporating the requirements of training residents for practice in the 21st century. Our residents’ educational experiences emphasize the competencies and skills required for practice in Internal Medicine, including subspecialty fields of IM.
I have been in clinical practice for over 20 years. I moved to Pensacola and joined Ascension Sacred Heart medical staff in 1999. I served as a member of the Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart Board of Directors from 2002 – 2012. Prior to becoming the Internal Medicine Program Director at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, I was involved in the IM Residency Program at Doctors’ Hospital in Columbus, OH. I currently serve on multiple Quality and Safety Committees at Ascension Sacred Heart.
