Kylie Lucas

Kylie Lucas, PharmD, BCPS is a graduate of the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at St. Vincent’s Health System in Birmingham, AL, during which time she earned her teaching and research certifications. She serves as a clinical staff pharmacist primarily for medical and surgical patients at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she is currently a preceptor in training. Her main duties include, but are not limited to, performing patient profile reviews, pharmacokinetic monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, anticoagulation monitoring, and discharge counseling.

Stephanie Luke

Stephanie Luke, PharmD, BCPS is a clinical staff pharmacist who works primarily in the adult critical care pharmacy satellite and is a preceptor to students and residents during their critical care experiences. Her other interests include drug information and parenteral nutrition. She works alongside nurses, physicians and other ancillary staff on a daily basis to ensure optimal patient care. Her responsibilities include in-depth medication profile review, multidisciplinary rounds in the SICU and MICU, kinetic and TPN services, anticoagulation monitoring, and renal dosage adjustments, as well as order processing and medication dispensing. Stephanie earned her PharmD from the Florida State University College of Pharmacy and is a native of the Florida panhandle.

Susan McDaniel

Susan McDaniel, Pharm. D. graduated with her B.S. and Pharm.D. from the Florida State University College of Pharmacy. She co-precepts the pediatric staffing and general pediatric rotations. She provides clinical support in the pediatric pharmacy satellite as well as consultant pharmacy support within the community. Susan’s clinical responsibilities include patient profile review, multidisciplinary rounds, kinetic monitoring, nutrition consults, and antibiotic review, along with order processing, dispensing, and technician supervision.

Jenna Para

Jenna Para, PharmD is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her PGY-1 pediatric-focused residency at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Pensacola, FL. She serves as the primary preceptor for the pediatric critical care rotation. Her clinical responsibilities include: multidisciplinary rounds, pharmacokinetic monitoring, TPN services, anticoagulation monitoring, and renal dosage adjustments, in addition to medication order processing and dispensing.

Jessica Porter

Jessica Porter, PharmD is a graduate of Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina with a focus on Ambulatory Care. Following her residency, she began her career at University of Birmingham Hospital in the Women and Infant’s Center where she primarily cared for the neonatal population, high-risk pregnancy & ante/post-partum women and adult gynecological/hematology/oncology patients. She joined the Sacred Heart Hospital team in 2017 as a clinical staff pharmacist where she currently serves as one of Emergency Room pharmacist and helps cover in the adult critical care units, central pharmacy distribution, IV room, total parental nutrition and medical/surgical adult patients. Her clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to pharmacokinetic monitoring, antibiotic stewardship, multidisciplinary rounds, discharge counseling, patient medication review, and general staffing duties.

Jennifer Powell

Jennifer Powell, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Pharmacy. She completed her post-graduate year one pharmacy practice residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Primarily, Jennifer works in the adult critical care pharmacy satellite, where duties include multidisciplinary rounding in the medical and surgical intensive care units, patient profile review, pharmacokinetic services, and renal dosing, in addition to order processing and medication dispensing. She serves as a critical care preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.

Sasha Premraj

Sasha Premraj PharmD, BCPS is our Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialist. She developed her passion for ID early in her schooling, completing her bachelor’s degree in microbiology and found herself gravitating towards the roles microbes play in human disease states. She completed both of her Post Graduate Years of training (PGY-1 & PGY-2) in Gainesville, FL at UF Health Shands. The PGY-1 training was a general pharmacy practice residency aimed to equip her to join the general clinical pharmacy workforce or to complete a PGY-2 in a specialty area. Sasha further honed her passion for ID by completing a PGY-2 in infectious diseases. She brings an amazing amount of knowledge and skill to better our patient outcomes as well as our antimicrobial stewardship program.

Lisa Scott

Lisa Scott, PharmD, BCPS obtained her M.S. in Neurobiology and Behavioral Neuroscience from Georgia State University and her pharmacy degree from Mercer University. She completed a PGY-1 at DeKalb Medical in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining Sacred Heart Hospital, her patient care areas included critical care, infectious diseases, neonatology, nutritional support, and internal medicine. She is a clinical staff pharmacist primarily for medical/surgical patients and a preceptor for General Medicine.
